TVS Zeppelin R

The TVS Zeppelin R idea appeared in the country at the 2018 Auto Expo. TVS has furnished the idea cruiser with a 220cc air-cooled engine, enhanced by an electric engine, like the Maruti Ciaz's gentle half breed framework and is professed to help speed increase and monitor fuel too. The motor produces 20PS and 18.5Nm, and moves capacity to the back tire utilizing a last belt drive. Anticipate that the creation adaptation should include a more ordinary chain drive.

TVS has pulled out all the stops for the Zeppelin idea's underpinnings. It utilizes a 41mm rearranged fork (completed in gold) and a back monoshock. The cruiser stops utilizing a front circle with spiral caliper and a back petal plate.

Being a valid cruiser, it rolls on talked wheels intended to be viable with tubeless tires for additional flexibility. Other prominent elements incorporate an all-LED lighting framework and a HD camera conveniently coordinated with the headlamp cowl. This is like a vehicle's scramble cam and helps record your rides.

TVS Motor Company has showcased an all-new concept at the Auto Expo 2018 – the TVS Zeppelin 220. The Zeppelin 220 is a cruiser motorcycle concept from the Hosur based bike manufacturer. According to the company, the TVS Zeppelin 220 is targeted at new-age long distance riders that offer raw, muscular look. If at all TVS plans to manufacture and launch the Zeppelin 220, the bike will directly compete against the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 in India.

The TVS Zeppelin 220 Cruiser Motorcycle is powered by a 220cc single-cylinder motor that gets fuel-injection and liquid cooling, while the motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The internal combustion petrol engine is paired to an integrated starter generator (ISG), which provides a boost to the bike helping in a quick start. The concept also comes equipped with a 1,200 Watt regenerative assist motor along with a 48V Li-ion battery. The motor provides the engine 20 percent more torque with the push of a button.

The TVS Zeppelin 220 gets a relaxed yet aggressive riding stance. The muscular tank, big piston forks, flat-track style handlebar, low-slung tail section, chunky tyres and spoke wheels adds to the looks of the bike. The bike comes equipped with 41 mm USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear, while braking is aided by disc brakes at both the ends along with dual-channel ABS. That said, power is sent to the rear wheels via a belt-drive.

While specifications and exact features are not known, notable features include full-LED headlamps, digital speedometer, an HD-action camera mounted on the headlamp assembly, LED tail lamps, a bio-electric key and online connectivity. The bike is finished in a shade of rustic brown along with black and silver highlights on various parts.

TVS Zeppelin is expected to launch in India in October 2021 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,15,000 to ₹ 1,25,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Zeppelin are Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, Royal Enfield Bullet 350 & Bajaj Avenger Street 160. Another bike similar to Zeppelin is Yamaha XSR 155 which is launching in October 2021 in India.

The other hardware includes gold-painted upside-down front forks, all-LED lighting, a ‘bio-key’ speedometer, and online connectivity. There is also an integrated action camera on the motorcycle – no doubt a feature that excites all motorcycle vloggers everywhere.

TVS has opted for a power cruiser format, like the Ducati Diavel and the Bajaj Dominar. This is a format that will appeal to a wide audience. It is also a format that TVS has not had until now, so it makes sense for them to branch out into it.
